Há pouco tempo atrás tive a agradável surpresa de receber um convite para ser entrevistado para um Site de Fotografia nos EUA (Minnesotta) denominado: Photzy.com.

Decidi executar um novo projecto com fotografias sobre pessoas que habitam uma instituição de acolhimento a idosos como quem abre mais uma janela de reflexão sobre o assunto.

Em geral são pessoas que, por doença / incapacidade ou por viverem isoladas e não terem família necessitaram de apoio e acompanhamento especializado.

Neste caso D. Carmencita recorda belos momentos que ficaram eternizados através de fotografias antigas que conserva. Foi assim baptizada em consequência de uma conhecida canção - com o mesmo nome - de Amália Rodrigues.

A Penumbra
