Summertime

It's a Street Photography that I took as usual in Candid mode. The ice cream van with its colors was a very attractive background and I waited (maybe 1 hour) in the same spot as the right actors arrived. A lot of people passed by until this group of young people arrived. They were moving in front of the van, and it was difficult to make a picture where the figures weren't overlapping. It was important to have several planes giving three-dimensionality to the image. But also important was the story that the posture of the different characters suggests. A photo is so much better when both the form and the content are equally good. I fired dozens of shots but only one met these requirements. A story with vibrations of summer flavors and colors, youth, freshness and happiness.

With framing I like to isolate and connect people. Smiles, expressions and other elements when related to each other can trigger emotions. Then the image gains a special vibration and/or a possible story.
